What I Do:

I hire all the crews from Maine to Virginia to Buffalo .

 

What I Like Best About My Job:

The interaction with people. I’ve hired people who have been doing residential work and then they come work for us and start their own business and it just flourishes. I like being part of that.

 

Why Did You Join H.I.P.:

I used to work in high tech and when the bottom fell out of that industry, I wanted to do the same thing in a different industry. I wanted to work for a company that was thinking outside the box and where I could make a real contribution.

 

Why I think H.I.P. Is Unique:

The management. They are always talking and listening to what’s going on. You’re not a number here. You’re a person. At some companies, you don’t know how the business is doing until you receive a bonus check or pink slip. The management here keeps you in tune with what is going on.
