Pre-fabricated Shed Builders

Work Available

Depending on your location, contractors building our prefabricated sheds can book work full time 45 weeks per year or more.

Product

Product walls are panelized and in some cases, floors are also pre-fabricated. Shingles, roof decking, and cement blocks are supplied by the manufacturer. All materials are inspected and prepared for subcontractor daily pick-up at our manufacturer or inventory yard.

Process

The customer is required to prepare their site as discussed during phone conversations with customer service which eliminates any site preparation. You are required to pick-up, deliver, and install the product. This process allows our subcontractors to complete three units per day.

Lease-to-own

Lacking some of the necessary tools? HIP has a lease-to-own trailer and tool program to help outfit subcontractors who may not have the required equipment. So long as you have a one-ton pickup truck, HIP contractors can pay a weekly fee for an equipment package that includes a gooseneck trailer with a mounted compressor, nail guns, staplers, hose reel, hoses and other equipment.

Stick Builders

Work Available

Because our stick work is generally on a part time basis, contractors typically work with us to keep their crews busy during down periods.

Process

Each customer is responsible to prepare their site as discussed during phone conversations with customer service. This ensures you spend little or no time on site preparation. Lumber, shingles and all remaining hardware is dropped at the customer home by our retailer. Our partners’ stick buildings range in size from 16x14 to 28x36 garages or two story buildings.

Delivery & Assembly Technicians

Work Available

Part or full time work is available in most locations but varies based on geography.

Process

As a Delivery & Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and installing a wide array of indoor and outdoor recreation products. HIP works on behalf of nationwide brand names within the sporting goods, office and furniture industries.

Technicians are required to pick up the purchased product from the retailer location and assemble at the customer’s home. This might include gazebos, pergolas, patio furniture, basketball hoops, swing sets and fitness equipment.

When contractors are hired, they are able to set workload preferences and can always reach out to our dedicated customer service center to resolve other issues.

Experience level, vehicle requirements and necessary tools are dependent upon the type of product each technician chooses to contract
NICA membership which provides your weekly payment on our behalf and offers some insurance benefits
Copy of automobile insurance showing up to $300,000 per accident, $100,000 per person for bodily injury and $50,000 property damage
Criminal background check

By demanding that our contractors have high workmanship standards we’re able to ensure quality service for our mutual customers. Strong carpentry, assembly and business skills are a must and will allow you to grow your business alongside our company.

Superior Service

Our contractors are responsible for delivering, installing or assembling the customer’s product while providing superior customer service. This includes completing work on time, overcoming obstacles, communicating with the customers and properly equipping and staffing your workforce.

Effective Communication

As one of our contractors, you must be technically savvy and willing to communicate with the office through our contractor phone app. Our own customer service team is here to help you throughout the preparation process, scheduling work and communicating with customers in advance.
